At a glance
The table below draws directly from what each agency states on its own website. The 360 Dental Marketing column reflects what appears on 360dentalmarketing.com.au as of October 2026. Our column reflects the terms we offer to every practice we work with.
| Dental SEO Services | 360 Dental Marketing | |
|---|---|---|
| Client focus | Dental practices only | The site describes a full-service dental marketing company, specialising in helping dental practices across Australia, with over 17 years in dental marketing |
| Services | Dental SEO, local SEO and Google Business Profile, Google Ads, dental websites | SEO, web development, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, social media marketing, branding and AI marketing |
| Territory exclusivity | One practice per postcode, confirmed in writing | The site states the agency does not work with competitors "in the area"; the definition of "area" is not stated on the website |
| Pricing published | No | No |
| Pre-engagement audit | Free written audit before any engagement | A free consultation is offered; an audit is not described on their website |
| Contract terms | Month to month, no lock-in | The site states a no lock-in policy; one month's notice is required to change |
| Account ownership | Practice owns website, domain, content, Google Ads and analytics from day one | Not found on their website |
| Reporting | Weekly updates plus plain-English monthly reports by treatment and enquiry source | Reporting format and cadence not found on their website |
| AHPRA compliance | Every page and ad reviewed against AHPRA guidelines and approved by the practice before going live | The site states marketing is handled in line with AHPRA's advertising guidelines |
The differences that matter most will depend on what a practice is trying to achieve. Contract terms, account ownership and the exact scope of any exclusivity commitment rarely appear in detail on agency websites. They are worth asking about directly before any engagement begins.
How each approaches dental marketing
360 Dental Marketing describes itself on its website as a full-service dental marketing company. Its services cover a wider range than ours: alongside SEO and Google Ads, it offers Facebook Ads, social media marketing and web development. The site positions this as an advantage for practices that want everything handled by one provider, without dealing with multiple suppliers.
A broader service scope
A broader service set has a practical implication for how attention is distributed. An agency managing social media, Facebook campaigns, SEO and paid advertising will structure its team differently from one focused on a narrower scope. Neither is inherently better: a practice that wants regular social content alongside its search marketing, or Facebook Ads running parallel to its Google Ads, will find that scope at 360 Dental Marketing. A practice focused on growing enquiries specifically from search may want to ask how work is divided across a wider range of channels.
A focused scope, by design
Dental SEO Services works only with dental practices and only on dental SEO, local SEO and Google Business Profile, Google Ads and dental websites. Social media and Facebook Ads are outside our scope. That is a deliberate choice: the work stays on search and paid channels where each enquiry can be traced to its source and connected to a specific treatment.
Both agencies state they handle AHPRA's advertising guidelines as part of their work. 360 Dental Marketing's website includes a dedicated AHPRA advertising page stating that marketing is handled in line with the guidelines. Our approach is to review every page and advertisement against the guidelines and submit it to the practice for written approval before anything goes live. The practice makes the final call on what is published.
360 Dental Marketing offers a free consultation; we did not find a written audit described on its website. We provide a written audit before any engagement begins: where the practice currently ranks for priority treatments and suburbs, a review of the website and Google Business Profile, and an AHPRA advertising check of the existing site.
Pricing and contracts
Neither agency publishes pricing on its website. This is common for agencies whose work is scoped to each practice's treatments, locations and starting point. Each agency will need to scope your practice before it can quote.
360 Dental Marketing states clearly on its website that there is no lock-in contract and that one month's notice is sufficient to make a change. The site also states that clients can scale services up or down based on what their practice needs.
Dental SEO Services operates on month-to-month terms with no lock-in contract. The scope and monthly fee are agreed in writing before any work begins. On this point the two agencies are close: neither asks for a lock-in. The practical point either way is that dental SEO builds over time, so the work done in one month carries into the next.
Before engaging either agency, it is worth asking for the full scope of work in writing and for clarity on what happens to your website, domain and advertising accounts if the engagement ends.
Exclusivity and accounts
Territory exclusivity is the commitment not to take on a competing practice in the same area. For dental practices, this matters because local search is highly specific: two practices targeting the same suburb for the same treatment are in direct competition, and an agency working with both cannot fully optimise for each.
360 Dental Marketing states on its website that it does not work with competitors "in the area" when it enters into a partnership with a practice. The site does not define what "area" means in this context. Whether exclusivity is defined by suburb, postcode, city or some other boundary is a question worth putting to them directly before engaging.
Territory exclusivity is written into every engagement at the postcode level. We work with one dental practice per postcode. Before we accept a new client, we confirm the postcode is available. If it is already held by an existing client, we say so at the audit stage. Once a practice is a client, their postcode is held for as long as the engagement runs.
Account ownership is a separate question from exclusivity. We did not find an account ownership policy on 360 Dental Marketing’s website. Whether the practice or the agency retains the website, domain, Google Ads account and any published content if the engagement ends is worth asking before agreeing to anything. With Dental SEO Services, the practice owns every account from the first day: the website, the domain, every advertising and analytics account, and every piece of published content.
Reporting and communication
We did not find a reporting format or cadence described on 360 Dental Marketing’s website. What practices receive and how often they hear from the agency is a question worth putting to them before engaging.
Reporting is a difference a practice feels every month of a working relationship. We commit to weekly progress updates and a plain-English monthly report for every client. Monthly reports show rankings, calls and enquiries sorted by treatment type and source, so a practice can see which treatments and which channels are producing enquiries, rather than receiving an aggregate traffic figure.
“The most useful report tells a practice which treatments produced enquiries last month and which channels those enquiries came through. Everything else is context.”
We commit to responding to any enquiry or client email within one business day. Sending an email to an agency before any engagement begins is a reasonable way to gauge how communication runs once you are a client.
Every page and advertisement we write is reviewed against AHPRA's advertising guidelines and submitted to the practice for approval before it goes live. Nothing is published without the practice's written sign-off. For more detail on how this works in practice, see our dental marketing overview or the FAQs page.
When 360 Dental Marketing may suit you better
A comparison written by one of the agencies being compared is not a neutral document. The most useful thing we can do is be specific about the situations where 360 Dental Marketing is worth considering seriously.
If your practice wants social media managed as part of its marketing programme, or Facebook Ads running alongside its Google Ads, 360 Dental Marketing offers both and we do not. A practice looking for a single provider to handle the full range of its digital marketing, from search to social, will find that scope there.
If a postcode your practice operates in is already held by one of our clients, 360 Dental Marketing is an agency worth approaching. We do not accept a second practice in a postcode we have committed to. The free audit is where you will find out whether your postcode is available.
A practical way to compare two agencies is to speak with both, request a scope of work in writing from each, and compare what you receive. Contact us if you would like to start with our free practice audit.
